Our Story
We do not see ourselves as “Worship Leaders” but prefer to be called, “Lead Worshipers.” We have a mandate to “Set the captives free!” Through our worship and ministry, there is an impartation that stimulates the desire to know Him in more intimate ways.
We tell people we had a “head-on collision” with God. It’s true! It all happened in January 1998, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. A pastor named Glen came into a bar to hear us sing, and invited us to breakfast at his farm house the next day. We were transformed by the love of Jesus, in those 10 hours at his farm with other loving believers. Since that time, our lives have been radically shifted in every way. We said goodbye to the “bar life” and hello to the “Jesus life.”
We lead worship at our home church in Barrie called Catch the Fire, as well as at other churches in the surrounding area. We love to worship God in both large and small settings.
At our house, we also have a recording studio called “The Well.” All the studio songs on this website were recorded there. Our passion is to sincerely pour out our hearts to the Lord, whether in leading worship, or in writing songs that bring glory to God.
We are not performers on a stage. Our call is to see captives set free, with an impartation that stirs a desire to know God, in more intimate ways.
“God is a Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). We see the congeration and worship team as one, Worshiping the One who is worthy.
As described in the Psalms — when the Holy Spirit leads worship we have seen healings, deliverances and impartations happen, without anyone praying for people.
