The True And False Church

I recently read a book by Derek Prince called “Protection from Deception”, I was shocked to come to the realization, and I believe the revelation, that is detailed in the following Scripture:

“ And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her, because no one buys their cargoes any more— cargoes of gold and silver and precious stones and pearls and fine linen and purple and silk and scarlet, and every kind ofcitron wood and every article of ivory and every article madefrom very costly wood and bronze and iron and marble, and cinnamon and spice and incense and perfume and frankincense and wine and olive oil and fine flour and wheat and cattle and sheep, and cargoesof horses and chariots and slaves and human lives .” ( Rev. 18:11-13)

Now I don’t know about you but this does not look like anything that I would consider to be “Christian”, wouldn’t you agree? I have read these words in the Bible many times and never once, did I consider that this passage was talking about anything that would be linked to “The Church”. I’m not asking you to believe me or to just accept this idea. Most of you know that Derek Prince was a great father of the faith and a highly respected teacher, and he has written 50 books. He died in 2003 after more than 60 years of ministry. Can this vision from Revelation truly be anything even slightly resembling “Christian”? Is this picture a glimpse of where a section of our family is headed? It seemed inconceivable to me but let’s continue.

He further illustrates that the head of the ‘True Church’ is Christ and the head of the ‘False Church’ is the Antichrist! The true church is the Bride of Christ and the false church is the Bride of the Antichrist. Can this be accurate? WOW, my doctrine is being shaken in a frightening way. I felt the extreme rush of God’s heart prompting me to take careful note as I was reading this book that was published in 2008! It would take way too much time to quote all of the significant portions of the book to illustrate these points. I’m sending out a sampler today to stimulate you into considering this concept and maybe logging onto or to order the book.

I also highly recommend Scott Holtz’s book called “The Mystery of Lawlessness” available on his web site at <a href=”” target=”_blank” title=”link to flash floods website”></a> , which confirms with many connecting ideas about the Apostasy that must come before Jesus is released to come back to earth. The book is on sale right now for only $7.00.

“The false church’s appeal is to the soul , and not the spirit.” (Page 104 from the book “Protection from Deception” by Derek Prince.) “The false church is ushered in by false teachers, such as those who came to various churches after Paul had ministered there, and who added legal restrictions and complex elements to the gospel. Paul warned about these teachers in 2 Corinthians 11:4, saying, “For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted; you bear this beautifully” (page 105) One more quote from the book, “God will judge the false church in a swift act of finality and totality. Christians must discern the true church from the false church in order to separate themselves from the false church and the wrath she will incur, as Revelation 18:4 says: “I heard another voice from heaven saying, ‘Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues; for her sins have piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities’”. (Page 108-109) Can this truly be a judgment of any organization that puts the cross of Jesus at the front of the building? It’s time to pray about your particular situation. Look for the signs that maybe you too are in the wrong boat and God has been speaking to you about making a move. Don’t ignore the promptings of the Holy Spirit. You may just be capsized by the incoming Tsunami! God’s judgment starts with the Church!

It seems shocking to me that the earth is definitely going to witness something very startling in the next few years! This has to happen before we are going to see the Lord coming in the clouds of glory to gather His Bride from the earth. With the Antichrist running the false church, how do we know we are not attending the false church at this very moment? We know that satan is the great deceiver and we also know that when we are deceived, we are always unaware of it, so how do we make sure that we are attending the ‘true church’? I am glad you asked! This idea has absolutely nothing specifically to do with any denomination! This is an “Internal Issue” and not an “External Issue”. God looks on the heart not on the outward appearance. We should be concerned about the things that God is concerned about in the Bible, first of all. In a recent survey taken from the book “Eve of Destruction by David Cerullo, it stated that 49% of the pastors in America do not believe that the Bible is the literal word of God. Many pastors today do not even believe that there is such a place as hell. When repentance, dying to your natural self, and the wonderful Blood of Christ is emphasized, you might just be in the right place, and when the grace of God is taught to be the power to overcome, and not a license to sin, and make the excuse that ‘God’s grace is sufficient”, you might be OK! When the focus is on self, self-esteem, self-worth, self-satisfaction, etc., you need to pray about the direction of your life, and where you are heading. Your personal destiny should not be the primary focus. If you are excited because your great prosperity is the most wonderful part of the promises of God, you should be very careful. When there is too much of the world in your church and the word that is preached is all about ‘you and your future’, if your material inheritance of God for your life is constantly highlighted, you might want to take a sincere survey of your heart.

When ‘true Godly love’ is overwhelmingly demonstrated between each other is the main thing, and giving to others is foremost, you might just be in the right place. One note on “Love” here from the book being highlighted in this article, “Another false version of Jesus is that of a universal Father Christmas: a jolly, benign fellow who walks around patting people on the head and saying, “There, there; never mind, it will all work out. Don’t worry.” This false picture of Jesus is purveyed by liberal churches, where God’s judgment of sin is scarcely mentioned.”

Have you ever got the impression that this “Another Jesus” is a picture of the “Christ” who is head of your church? This may just be the sugar-coated, false teaching that may be a wake up call for you. He (God) is not our Sugar Daddy in the sky, who’s only wish is to spoil His helpless children. This is a lie!!!!!

I was shocked and shaken as I considered this concept that even one of my brothers or sisters attending churches throughout the world could find themselves in the false church, and maybe none of them would even be aware of it happening, because the enemy of our souls so effectively accomplishes his smoke and mirrors tricks. We know that satan’s desire in heaven was to take the place of God on the throne. He had come to the insane conclusion that somehow ‘he’ was better suited to the job of ruling the heavens, and God should “move over and let satan take over”. Insane…YES! But his presentation to illustrate his case was good enough to convince one third of the angels to join his rebellion. He swayed them into believing that he was destined to be the next “Overseer of the Universe” taking the place of God. Think about it…these angels were eye-witnesses to the overwhelming glory of God, and yet satan was able to pull a few magic tricks out of his hat and with his alluring charisma, he conjured up what seemed like the “Truth”! It must have been a rude awakening when these fallen angels found themselves exiled to the barrenness of earth, by God Himself!

Of course…mutiny was not an option now, or the meglomaniac ruler of these fallen angels (demons) would lash out in outrageous fits of extreme anger and the result would be anything but pleasant. If you think that any evil ruler of this world was terrifying, be it Adolph Hitler, Saddam Hussein, or Joseph Stalin; consider that they were only reflections of their father, the devil. He makes those guys look like Florence Nightingale! He has NO LOVE WHATSOEVER!! NONE! There is no chance of redemption for that “Old Serpent”! NONE!!

I recommend that you order this book if you are passionate about Jesus and have truly become a “Lover of the Truth”, and would like to avoid the deception that even now has been released upon the earth, as it says in 2 Thess. 2:7-12

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do sountil he is taken out of the way. Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is,the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.”

Did you see that in this Scripture? We need to receive the “Love of the Truth” or God will send a “Deluding Influence” so that they will believe what is false. Would a loving God do this? Well…this is where the rubber meets the road folks. What exactly is an illustration of “God is Love”? Quoting from the book “Protection from Deception, page 149,

“The word “love” is used frequently in the church to manipulate individuals. They emphasize that “God is love”, which is true. Yet while God is loving, He is also strict; He forgives, but He holds us accountable for our actions, thoughts, and words. A sentimental concept of God as Father Christmas, doling out candy to little children, is far from His actual righteousness and holy severity. Again, God chastens those He loves; He fulfills His promise to discipline His children”

This book is a must buy for those who are interested in staying awake while the Antichrist musters his troops to deceive the masses. He already has the world in his back pocket; his challenge is and has always been “the Church”. Will we see this happen in the next few years? 2 Thessalonians says it must happen before He returns. Which side of the camp do you want to be on? Are you a shoot of wheat or a tare? Are you a sheep or a goat? If the deluding influence has already started, and I believe it has, then you need to repent before the mustard cloud desensitizes you and slowly starts to snuff out your spiritual life! Obviously, I am very, very passionate about this! My heart is truly crying out that the multitudes of people who fall away as these events unfold, would be minimized. This is my pure and urgent reason for sending out this Epistle! WARNING! WARNING! “The submarines are in the harbour and positioning themselves, preparing to attack! You may not see them now, but only those who have ears to hear and are led by the Holy Spirit will escape this annihilation plan! Make sure you are fully covered in humility as you lean totally and completely on God, and depend upon Him to keep your feet safe on the path of ‘Protection from Deception’!

We love you guys and care deeply for your souls!

Here are a few statistics from another book called, “Eve of Destruction” by David Cerullo.
Almost 20% of Americans believe that the Bible is an “ancient book of fables”, while almost half say the Bible is inspired, but “not everything in it should be taken literally.” In other words, they think they can choose what they want to believe and ignore (or reinterpret) the rest. 60% of Americans “can’t name five of the Ten Commandments” 50% of high school seniors think Sodom and Gomorrah were married. Only 33% of young adults “embraced the concept of absolute truth” 50% of Americans said that “ethics and morals are based on ‘what is right for each person (This is called “Relativism”, which contains the idea of it is everyone’s individual choice to do what they believe is ‘right’! 80% of ‘born again believers’ agree with the statement “The Bible teaches that God helps those who help themselves” (even though this is not in the Bible) 49% of ‘born again believers’ believe that “the devil or Satan, is not a living being but is a symbol of evil” (ignoring what the Bible says concerning him) 39% of ‘born again believers’ maintain “if a person is generally good, or does enough good things for others during their life, they will earn a place in heaven. (Ignoring that the Bible says we are not saved by our works but through our faith and by confessing Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Lord) 30% of ‘born again believers’ feel that “Jesus Christ was a great teacher, but He did not come back to physical life after He was crucified” 29% of ‘born again believers’ contend that “when Jesus lived on earth, He was human and committed sins, like other people (despite the fact that Scripture teaches He was sinless) 42% of US adults are not “absolutely certain that there is a God. 51% of US adults believe that Christians and Moslems all worship the same God

The deception is in full swing but there is hope , His name is the Holy Spirit and He will lead you and I into “All Truth” and to our Saviour Yeshua/Jesus! Seek to become “Lovers of the Truth”. There is only ONE way to heaven and there is only ONE God who is able to get you through the gate, by Jesus Christ. There are NOT many ways to heaven! Moslems are turning to Jesus all over the world like never before! Their god is not the God of the Bible! Do not be deceived!
